Ukrainian pickled cabbage "pelustka" is a traditional dish of Ukrainian cuisine, which is prepared from cabbage and spices. The name "pelustka" comes from the fact that cabbage is cut into thin strips, resembling the appearance of petals. In order to prepare a pickled cabbage petal, the cabbage is cut into thin strips and salted for several hours so that it becomes softer.
